Co-teaching at ESO

As we know the school is in a process of change. In the first cycle of E.S.O. we are introducing new methodologies and new tools to adapt to the 21st century model, which is committed to a more comprehensive form of education in where the pupil is more involved.

One of the novelties of this new model is the study by areas. On the one hand, the sociolinguistic field and, on the other, the scientific-technical field. Indeed, it is because these areas are twofold that we can find in the 1st ESO what we know as co-teachingThe lessons are not taught by one teacher, but by two. There are two of us who accompany the students in their learning process, each teacher with his or her own speciality. These hours are no longer language or social studies but we can use two or three sessions to work on the field. It is a more flexible way of working and requires both specialists in the classroom accompanying the pupils.
